This document provides detailed information on the use of cookies and how to manage them.

What are cookies and why do we use them

Cookies are short pieces of text (letters and / or numbers) that allow the web server to store on the client (the browser); the site can reuse this information during the same visit (session cookies) or later, even after days (persistent cookies). According to user preferences, any single browser on the specific device used (PC, tablet, smartphone) can store Cookies.

The website uses cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the procedures; likewise, it uses cookies to improve the experience of use of online applications.

Typologies of cookies

Based on the characteristics and use of cookies, we can distinguish several categories:

Navigation cookies. These are cookies used for the proper functioning of the sites, such as Management of logins and access to sensitive functions of the site. The duration of cookies is strictly limited to the working session and are usually deleted when you close your browser. This site uses cookies of this kind.

Cookies for analysis and performance. These cookies are used to collect and analyse traffic and using of the site anonymously. These cookies, although without identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also allow the owner of the site to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. You can deactivate these cookies without any loss of functionality. This site uses cookies of this kind provided by third parties (Google Analytics).

Cookies profiling. These are persistent cookies used to identify (anonymously or not) user preferences and improve its navigation experience. This site uses cookies of this kind, provided by third parties (see also the next section).

Cookies to integrate third-parts products and software functions. This type of cookie incorporates features developed by third parts within the pages of the site such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks; this is done in order to share the contents of the site or for the use of third-parts software services (such as software to generate maps and additional software that offer other services). These cookies are sent from third-parts domains and partner sites that provide the functionality of the site’s pages. This site uses cookies of this type.

Navigation cookies used
cookie_notice_accepted: this is a technical cookie used to avoid re-proposing the bar with the short cookie notice at each new site opening by the user.

In particular sections of the site, other technical navigation cookies may also appear, related to the technology with which the site was built; their name starts with “WP_” or “WordPress”.

Google Analytics

This web site includes some components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). It is based on cookies collected by third parties and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (cookies performance).

Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect and analyse anonymous information about site usage behaviour (including your IP address). Google Analytics collects this information, processing them in order to draw up reports for the site administrators. This site does not use (and do not allow others to use) the Google analytics tool to track or collect personally identifiable information. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a user. Google can also communicate this information to third parties unless required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

You can selectively disable the action of installing Google Analytics on your browser component opt-out provided by Google. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the link given below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Disabling cookies on the browser

The types of cookies used by the site that do not concern user profiling do not require explicit consent, in order to proceed with navigation; the non-acceptance of profiling cookies through a special banner does not disable all other cookies.

In any case it is possible to disable cookies completely by modifying the settings of the browser; bear in mind that doing so could lose the ability to properly use some of the features of the site.

At any time, you can delete all previously installed cookies, emptying the browser’s cookie folder. Each browser has different procedures for managing settings; we report below the links to the management procedures for the most common tools:

Apple Safari
Google Chrome
Microsoft Internet Explorer
